Egg in a Hole
An egg cracked into a hole in a bread slice and pan-fried. Quick, fun, and satisfying.

Ingredients
- 2 slices thick bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper
Steps
- Cut 2-inch hole in center of each bread slice with glass or cutter.
- Heat butter in pan over medium heat.
- Add bread. Crack egg into each hole.
- Cook 3 minutes until bread is golden and egg white is set.
- Flip carefully. Cook 1 more minute for set yolk.
- Season and serve.
